Sona Voss | Executive Property Consultant
Dear Sona, before we talk about your current work at ZIEGERT, I’d love if you could briefly introduce yourself. Where are you from originally? What’s your professional background?
Of course! My name is Sona Voß, I come from Armenia, and I’ve been living in Germany for 17 years. After completing my studies as a concert pianist, I first worked as an au pair and then in retail. I had two children and used the time away from work to think about new ways to challenge myself. Inspired by my husband’s work as a project developer, I decided to get a second degree in property administration.
As a real estate agent, I’ve found my dream job – one in which I can realize my full potential. I play piano now to maintain a kind of balance. I’ve been working at ZIEGERT for two years as a real estate consultant, which makes me very happy. I work in the international sales team and do my best every single day to fulfil the hopes and dreams of our customers.
What does a work day look like for a real estate consultant?
The primary activity is counselling – and not just as a real estate consultant, but also as a personal consultant. You select some suitable properties, offer them, answer the customer’s questions, and do everything you can to not only find the customer’s dream property, but also fulfil additional wishes – proximity to office or school, for example, or structure of the environment and fulfilment of expected return.
Which three qualities should a real estate consultant have?
In my opinion, trust is the basis for every transaction. Accordingly, the three most important qualities a real estate consultant must have are honestly, professional competence, and friendliness. Beyond that, you should always remain true to yourself.
ZIEGERT’s portfolio of condos is very wide-ranging. Could you talk about a new or pre-war building project that you especially like?
I’ve concentrated mainly on new buildings. At the moment, the Hochmeisterplatz and Upside are my favourite projects. The fabulous locations, excellent architecture, and outstanding construction quality certainly fulfil my own personal criteria for a dream home. That’s why I particularly enjoy selling apartments from these projects.
What’s been your biggest personal success during your time working in ZIEGERT sales?
I’m a very goal-oriented person, and at the beginning of the year, I decided that at some point, I’d be top seller of the quarter. I achieved that goal with great joy this summer.
For me, achieving goals means achieving the impetus for new goals and thus always contributing to the long-term success of the company.
What’s the difference, in your opinion, between the opportunities ZIEGERT offers a real estate consultant compared to other companies in the industry?
Many, many differences! I feel incredibly comfortable at ZIEGERT, where mutual appreciation is not just a goal – it’s a lived reality. Beyond that, I have an amazing team, which has become like a second family to me. Also decisive, of course, is the quantitatively and qualitatively extraordinary portfolio of properties, which sets ZIEGERT apart and with which you can meet almost all customer desires.

What are your hopes for your personal future at ZIEGERT?
I’d like to continue to develop myself with ZIEGERT and look forward to defining and achieving goals together.
