Berlin, March 13, 2020 – The prestigious high-rise project UPSIDE Berlin in Friedrichshain is entering its next and central construction phase. Following the successful completion of the base shell at the end of 2019, the construction of the two residential towers is now progressing further. The focus of sales is set on the even more exclusive units in the upper floors.

With heights of 96 and 86 meters respectively, the two towers of UPSIDE Berlin unfold new living space for the capital. The 22 residential floors of the smaller tower offer 179 condominiums, each with 63 to 137 square meters divided in 2 to 5 rooms. Thanks to the immediate proximity to the river, most of the apartments have a magnificent, unobstructed view of the Spree.

UPSIDE Berlin closes the gap in one of the most promising quarters of the city: MediaSpree in Friedrichshain. Located directly at the East Side Gallery, where the Mercedes-Benz Arena is linked to the new Zalando Campus, residents benefit from the advantages of the neighborhood.

Sales focus on the premium units on the upper floors

UPSIDE Berlin, designed by the renowned Nöfer Architects, is being realized by the property developer MIKARE and its 100% financed by the guarantee and approval of the investment manager Barings. “The secure financing will enable us to advance this prestigious project reliably and with the courage and passion it deserves”, says Ömer Saritas, Head of Sales of MIKARE.

With its 86 meters, UPSIDE Berlin is currently the highest residential condominium project in the east of Berlin and one of the highest pure residential high-rise buildings in the capital.
